A Speechless Dream

My previous entries have been too much of picture posts, that's why I think I should write a lil bit. It seems like I haven't spilled anything from my heart, and I'm not going to do that in this post. Instead, I wish to share a story from my head, more accurately, from my mind.

The other night, I had one of the most emotional dreams I'd ever had in my life, and it's also the weirdest too. The dream was about a kiss with a girl whom I last expected I would be dreaming of.

The whole dream was weird and illogical. For several seconds we kissed, I was the one who pulled back, for the reasons I would never recall anymore. But then the emotional wave of feeling started to hit me. I remember the next not to vividly, just that I was sitting behind a desk (could be a student's desk at school, which was weird since I was never in the same school as that girl). Sitting there, I could see the image (probably a photograph or a jpg file) of us kissing being printed on the newspaper. I've told you it was illogical. Then a man, one of my friends who I could tell had a feeling for this girl came straight to me, but he didn't know of the image on the newspaper, nor he knew of the kissing.

I didn't want to upset him so I torn the picture apart from the paper. It was about then the dream vanished and I woke up.

The next day, I saw her while we're hanging out with our friends. I could swear I looked at her differently from then on, but she was not a kind of girl I could fall in love with.

After I told her about the dream, she was laughing and she came out with few explanations for my dreams. I could only laugh with her, seeing my mind had gone wild and incomprehensible.

Fun Little Reunion

So Last night I saw three of my highschool friends whom I haven't seen in five long years. Tomat, Fransiska, and Rotua were still the same as ever. Especially for Rotua whose insanity had just reached an entirely new level... huehue. It was a fun little reunion which was supposed to be held by eight people but eventually only four could attend. Nevertheless, it was still a great night and I am planning to do that again next week, with more people, of course.

You can see the Bahasa Indonesia version of this entry right here.

Okay, without further talking, let me present the lovely face :

Rudi aka Tomat, with his captivating face and hair... :P

and my favourite "
Photo of the Week" :

Several sitting photos from
Fountain...

And several additional photos ... :D

Those are fun photos, fun gathering, fun little reunion. And after looking at those pictures rather carefully, I found out that my mouth was open the entire time :B

Meet My Fellow el

The reason why I haven't posted anything for the last week is because my good ol' friend Jimmy Handoko a.k.a el_marshall were back in town. It was a rare opportunity to see his catshit face again... huehue..

It's a new and old experience for me to see him. We did the silly things we did when we're in highschool, for eg, eating "sate padang" at Veteran Street like we used to do a million years ago... and I did several things I never did before.

I guess this is what a homecoming gathering should be with my old friends, though it could be better if we had more time. He only stayed for a few days and those few days were deprived by work.

I really hate when somebody from my past goes back to town but still we don't get the chance to meet with each other AT ALL. It would be a shame, seeing they don't come visit very often. But on the contrary, meeting old friends and telling old jokes are one of my hobbies. Some might say I'd be living in a past, and all I could be for their future is a memory, a glitch from the past.

Whatever! It's not something bad, to look back on our past and remember the great stuffs from last times. I think that's a healthy thing, to embrace our friendship which we have since a long time ago. It does NOT make you a memory in the future. And what's wrong about making memories?

I like to eternize my moments in the present so that whatever happens today, will be a remembered yesterday.
That's what journals are for.
That's what photo albums are for.
That's what blogs are for.
That's what cameras are for.
Hell, That's what memories are for.

***

And now, let me present the pictures... As usual, you can get extra information by hovering your mouse over each of these...

Secret Whisper - Revealed (like a year ago)

I have to be leaving...

but I won't let that come between us, OK?

OK.

[gasp]

Today I rewatched my most favourite movie that is LOST IN TRANSLATION, a movie by Sofia Coppola starring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. The last time I did that, it was a turning point in my life, for this was the movie which had moved me and had changed my way of thinking in life.

Thus, this was a pretty big and significant movie for me. I didn't bother enough to seek for the last whisper scene which was purposefully left ambiguous by the creators. But today, I needed to hear the exact words Bob said to Charlotte, of which words changed Charlotte's expression at the end of the movie. I need to know how it turned out, their relationship.

And now I know.

Thanks to someone who digitally removed the noises and cleaned it so that I could hear it and read it with subtitle too...

At the end, learning about what he said didn't ruin the story for me. It's more satisfying, may I say.

Lost in Translation is still the greatest drama/comedy movie for me. If you haven't seen this film yet, I recommend you see it at once. Probably you will understand as to why this movie could change me.

Next, I want to download the Soundtrack from this movie. Some songs I put my eyes on are :

"City Girl" – Kevin Shields
"More Than This" - Bill Murray
"Brass in Pocket" – Scarlett Johansson
"Brass in Pocket" – The Pretenders
"More Than This" – Roxy Music

and the new Scarlett Johansson studio album "Anywhere I Lay My Head" :

"Anywhere I Lay My Head" - Scarlett Johansson
"Song for Jo" - Scarlett Johansson

Between Karaoke and Bowling

There was ...

Yeah.. Po the Kungfu Panda.

It's a great movie according to me and several people I know, except for the others who said that this movie was average, mediocre, or bad.

I think, for a family animation movie, this one's a must-see. The comedy is natural, light and spoofy. More slapstick-y rather than sophisticated. The storyline is not too complicated. Actually it's not complicated at all. Maybe that's what disappointed some people. But I like this movie. I planned to buy the DVD later.

Did I say between Karaoke and Bowling?

Oh yeah...

Here you go.

Nice weekend for me, except it's so tiring and I was being a huge money spender. But it's all worth it though. Why won't one receive happiness, huh?

Anyway, my good friend Jimmy will be back in town tomorrow, so I'm excited. And I'm going to search for the last episode of Grey's Anatomy season 4 tonight. Have fun for me!

Insane Pictures Time!

So Here's the deal. I was so voiceless last night that we all couldn't go to Karaoke. Instead, we decided --- out of the blue --- to take a photo shoot. Scratch that, several photo shoots.

Without anymore procrastination, let me present the shameful yet prideful result of last night's insanity...

First, the introduction...

Six people, just like Friends, yeah, if you count Riwan as a girl. :D

Next,

This pose is pretty cool. Somehow, it looks like a human pagoda.

Uh... in this next picture ...

.. I was brutalized and viciously raped :R plus the photographer told the girls to cover their noses as if some beautiful scent was coming from my armpit.. __>.<__>
But I got my revenge...

Michael's balls were ripped off.

I like this circle pose, seems cliche, but actually pretty good.

The girls even caught us peeing. Huahahaha... Best Photo Ever!

They were wiggy, they were spoily, they were banci. Huehuehuehue.

And there were moments where we told our deepest desire, the love of our hearts, to the faces right in front of us. There'd be no judging. PS : LOOK AT THE HOMO GUYS ABOVE!!! lolz...

There were some arguments, so Michael got thrown into the ocean... :DD

Oh yeah, we even did chicken dance... while pointing like a sissy..

A circle is always roundedly closed, right?

And for the final photo, it's the one I put a great effort to make, since everybody was piling on top of me, suffocated me, tinkled me, and basically tortured me. It was also the funniest picture of all. There, I was raped the second time...

....

In the end, it's all about laughing. Do you know the best part of having a photoshoot is? It's the funny moments when you were shot.

Six : The Present

Continuing my previous entry, I called her last night to see how she was doing. She was doing OK and we planned to meet the next day and to have a lot of catching up.

I met her today. Just now, even. I'm still wearing the same clothes. We sat down and had a lot of talking. It's so great to see her again. We chatted about our old friends, our new friends, the past, the present, the future, lives and lies, her past boyfriends, her future boyfriend, my future girlfriends, and whatever came to mind. It was so fun despite the fact that I'm so voiceless right now. It's my throat. I have to struggle to pronounce one single word fully. It's never happened to me before. I have never ever been voiceless
(literally) my entire life, until today. It's so miserable. How can I sing tomorrow, if we decide to go Karaoke?

Anyway, even with the sky was crying down the heavy rain, I still had a pretty great time. She hasn't changed a bit. We took some time to eternalize that moment.

Friendship for always!
